Bangladesh left-arm spinner spinner Abdur Razzak will travel to Canberra in Australia for independent analysis of his bowling action after it was reported.
Razzak was reported by Emirates Elite Panel umpires Daryl Harper and Asoka de Silva at the conclusion of his country’s second Test against New Zealand in Mirpur.
In their report the umpires explained they had concerns over the player’s faster ball and, having monitored it during both matches in the series, decided it was appropriate the delivery should be scrutinized further under the relevant ICC process.
The bowler will be assessed by Marc Portusa, a member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) panel of human movement specialists at the Australian Institute of Sports (AIS) on November 17.
Razzak, currently on tour in South Africa, will leave for Australia on Saturday (November 15) at the end of the ODI Series. He will return to South Africa on 18 November to rejoin the squad.
